Anne remembered that Miss Cornelia had given her a very different impression of Leslie's mother. But had not love the truer vision? Still, it WAS selfish of Rose West to make her daughter marry Dick Moore.

The Procession to Calvary, which is a spiritual successor to the "Four Last Things", was announced by developer Joe Richardson and is set to arrive on mobile devices in future. In the meantime, there is a plan for a PC version that will be released on April 9th.

In the game, you'll basically play within famous pieces of art, taking place in historical time periods. It's essentially a point-and-click adventure game like its predecessor, Four Last Things. There will be puzzles to solve among other things, so have your wits ready to go on this trip through history. What's amazing about it is how it's essentially a painting in motion.

In some ways, it reminded of Cuphead, and how I thought it was impressive how they turned a 1930's style cartoon into a game - only Calvary won't be as brutally difficult as Cuphead. This has the same vibes in some ways but focuses on paintings instead of cartoons.

Potentially the signature feature of the game is how hilarious it looks. There will be no shortage of humour in The Procession to Calvary. You'll see historical figures doing funny things, and there will be plenty of humorous dialogue too. Even when you run, it looks hilarious - you may not want to just walk anymore.

On top of this, there will be an "Optional Murder" mode that you can play through. This will allow you to kill people who throw puzzles your way, allow you to skip the puzzles. However, there will be consequences at times if you do, so if you're going to kill, then do so wisely.

And of course, there will be some classical music, which seems to play a big role in the game. Fitting music is always an excellent way to set the tone for any game. The music you hear may not only take you back in time, but it could be funny too, especially under certain in-game circumstances. It's good that Richardson is putting an emphasis on the music.

Zynga already made the inevitable endless runner take on Road Runner in Looney Tunes: Dash. But Cartoon Survivor looks like it could prove to be a better version of it.

Rather than controlling Road Runner while it avoids hazards thrown at it by Wile E. Coyote, you play Doo Doo the Dodo in this adventure runner.

The idea is to survive the length of an obstacle course to please the producer of the cartoon show. This involves traversing each level before the dynamite on Doo Doo's back explodes while collecting as many tokens as possible.

Of course, this being a cartoon, Doo Doo's life is at high risk at all times in the game's 23 levels. You'll need to run, jump, and glide at the right time, and with quick reactions.

On the 22nd this week, Supercell released a blog post that threw Clash of Clans fans into a bit of a tizzy, so much so that they had to follow up with another post yesterday addressing players' concerns.

In order to balance play out a little bit better Supercell announced that it would be changing several elements of gameplay, including Cannon damage (increasing for levels 11-14), Miner movement speed (getting reduced), Healers (trigger air traps again), and Attackers (can deploy more army before Eagle Artillery activates).

Funnily enough it was the announcement of the Healers' air traps that provided cause for concern as Supercell further went on to talk about how this would affect the Queen Walk or Super Queen strategies.

After addressing the concerns, they talked about their rationale when deciding on the changes, such as "A well-executed Queen walk is incredibly powerful, though it is still a strategy of skill that we have no intention of removing from the game. We find that the extra risk of air traps provides a measured balance to the powerful rewards of this strategy."

You can read more on these updates on Clash of Clan's site, linked above.

Mega Man X's Zero has now arrived in the world of Teppen as a playable hero. He's available as part of the Haunted by Memories expansion, which explores the haunted past of several iconic Capcom characters while adding an all-new ability called Memory.

This lets a card's abilities change if the number of Action Cards used throughout the match is equal to or greater than the specified number. It'll surely come in handy during competitive play and offer an extra bit of depth to matches.

It looks like Sega's hugely popular match-three RPG Puyo Puyo Quest is coming to the west, but - like the first Puyo Puyo game - it has been given a complete makeover for audiences outside of Japan.

The game is now called Cranky Food Friends - a Delicious Drop & Match RPG. The Puyo slimes and anime heroes are gone, and in their place you'll find various items of food with cartoon faces.

There's a steak that wants to murder you. A bowl of cereal that has eyes for some reason. A sentient pasta octopus, with a screaming mouth on each meatball. It is truly terrifying.

As we said, this isn't the first time that SEGA deemed Puyo Puyo too outrageous for our narrow western sensibilities. The first PP game to make it out of Japan was rebranded as Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine.

No word on when Cranky Food Friends will actually be out, but it's currently available in soft launch in regions such as Canada. PP Quest apparently makes Sega around $4 million a month.
NeoGAF

Just a few weeks after the game arrived on the App Store, Death Road to Canada will shortly be getting MFi controller support to really drive home that console feel.
MFi controller support update submitted, for Death Road to Canada iOS!And maybe a special surprise feature.— Rocketcat Games (@rocketcatgames) April 6, 2017 For those who don't know, Death Road to Canada is an utterly daft zombie slashing road trip sim in which you and a bunch of people you probably hate, and maybe a few dogs, attempt to survive a zombie outbreak. Aside from crossing the boarder to an apparently zombie-free Canada, you'll also have to stop at cities on the way and scavenge for supplies and survivors.

Having received very good reviews across its platforms, Pocket Gamer awarded the game a Gold and found it very enjoyable indeed. For me personally the touch controls could be a little flaky at times, so the introduction of MFi support could be just the ticket into making the game right at home on mobile.

The update isn't out just yet but Rocketcat Games announced that it would likely be hitting out on April 13th if there were no delays.

Until then, if you haven't got the game yet, grab it on the App Store now for £7.99/$7.99.

Die-hard fans of the popular MU Online series will be overjoyed to learn that they can now get their hands on some of the franchise's most popular characters with Webzen releasing an official line of MU figurines.

In partnership with Japanese figurine manufacturer VERTEX, Webzen today unveiled its Fairy Elf figure; a 1/7th size physical rendering of one of the most iconic characters found throughout MMORPG franchise. This of course shouldn't come as a surprise with the company enjoying a great reputation in the industry for its dedication to quality and use of state of the art 3D sculpting techniques.

The new line of figures represents a new venture for Webzen, which is looking to explore new ways of expanding its hit franchise. A WEASEL, inactive from age and infirmities, was not able to catch mice as he once did. He therefore rolled himself in flour and lay down in a dark corner. A Mouse, supposing him to be food, leaped upon him, and was instantly caught and squeezed to death. Another perished in a similar manner, and then a third, and still others after them. A very old Mouse, who had escaped many a trap and snare, observed from a safe distance the trick of his crafty foe and said, "Ah! you that lie there, may you prosper just in the same proportion as you are what you pretend to be!"
